May 7, 2010GoldandBlack.com learned Friday that Boilermaker leading scorer E'Twaun Moore has decided to return for his senior season.
Moore, along with classmate JaJuan Johnson, entered his name for the NBA draft without hiring an agent, but has decided to withdraw his name and return for his final season at Purdue.
The NCAA's underclassmen withdrawal deadline is 5 p.m. Saturday.
Moore, a first-team All-Big Ten performer as a junior, has led Purdue in scoring the past three seasons and will look in 2010-11 to become the first player in school history to do so in four straight seasons.
The Portland Trailblazers brought Moore in for a workout.
Purdue will now await word from Johnson, considered of the two the one most likely to make the leap.
The big man just returned to Indianapolis from Houston, where he worked out for the Rockets.
Should Johnson forego his senior season at Purdue, he'd be the first Boilermaker since Glenn Robinson to do so.
