The annual Auburn Baseball Celebrity Home Run Derby begins at 6:00 pm CT on Friday at Plainsman Park.

An all-star lineup will participate in the festivities, including Bo Jackson, Frank Sanders, Hal Baird, Gabe Gross, Tim Hudson and David Ross as well as long-time Auburn fan and 16-year MLB veteran Todd Jones.

Gates will open at 5pm and there is a minimum $1 donation at the gates to enter, with all money benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County.

Following the home run derby, which will also feature current Auburn baseball players Ryan Jenkins and Kevin Patterson, the team will hold a nine-inning scrimmage.

Great raffle prizes will be drawn for throughout the night, including autographed balls and Under Armour gear.

Fans are encouraged to park in the parking deck or the new arena lot. However, all cars must be moved after the event is over due to the Auburn-Kentucky football game the next day.

The event will be sponsored this year by Ted Bryant of Farmers Insurance, Locos Grill and Pub, Chick-fil-A and Country's BBQ.
