Arizona TE is gaining attention
Tight end is an important position in the Oregon State offense, so it only makes sense that getting at least one in each recruiting class has been a priority for the football coaching staff. For the Class of 2008, Dion Jordan is emerging as one of their top targets at the spot. The athletic 6-foot-6, 215-pounder from Chandler High School in Arizona is hearing from a number of programs at this point but in a way is trying to keep people at bay as he concentrates on the present.
"The off-season has been pretty good," Jordan said. "I'm doing track, running the 300 hurdles, the 110 hurdles, the 4x100, and 4x400. I've been focusing on that and school right now."
