Boehm Has a Feel for the Winning Way
Aside from recruiting his impressive talent schools may be pursuing Lee's Summit (Mo.) Lee's Summit West offensive guard Evan Boehm for reasons beyond his ability. That's because the 6-foot-3, 290-pound prospect is fresh off back to back state championships. First the Titans football team took home a championship on the gridiron and then Boehm brought home an individual title for West's wrestling squad.
So the question is, what type of jewelry is he going to be wearing?
"Man, I wanted two rings but my parents are paying for it so I'm just adding something to my football championship ring for the wrestling win. I wanted two though," Boehm laughed.
"I ended up winning state in class four, by a score of 1-0. In the second period I chose down and escaped right off the bat. And then the third period he went down and I rode him out."
