On Thursday morning, Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich were named as the Big 12 Preseason Co-Players of the Year. So, it was only fitting that Collins, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound guard from Chicago, Ill., and Aldrich, the 6-foot-11, 250-pound center from Bloomington Jefferson, Minn., stood side-by-side inside Hadl Auditorium on Thursday afternoon to address the media.
