Auburn hosts Bama DE commit on visit
Ariton (Ala.) four-star defensive end Craig Sanders is committed to the in-state Tide. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has been since May.
Right now, he doesn't see that changing. But he's at least going to take another peak at Auburn, and did this weekend as the Tigers beat West Virginia 41-30.
Accompanied by his mother and stepfather, Sanders made the trip to the Plains Saturday for an unofficial visit. It wasn't his first time at Auburn.
"I think it was both of theirs, though," said Sanders. "They enjoyed it. They said it was a great atmosphere, really loud. They enjoyed all of the coaches and stuff. They thought it was really fun."
So did he.
"We got there around 2 or 2:30 and met some friends, and then went and registered, watched Tiger Walk, talked to some coaches and ate before the game," Sanders said. "The rain stopped right before Tiger Walk started so it was still really good."
