Video: Neely quietly confident about starting role
EAST LANSING - When Michigan State lines up on defense against Montana State this Saturday, junior defensive end Colin Neely will be making the second season-opening start of his Spartan career.
But one year after the former Bethlehem (Penn.) Freedom standout made his debut on the road against California, Neely feels like he is much more prepared for his role as a starting defensive end for the Spartans.
"Last year versus Cal, my eyes were so big for that first play," recalled Neely. "Now I know what to expect. I am more prepared."
