Randall Carroll brings the speed
Landing Bruin freshman Randall Carroll out of Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral was a big deal for the Bruins. When you have a player on the field with the speed of Carroll, the opposition has to respect his lethal homerun ability. Monday marked the speedster's first official practice as a freshman and he did not disappoint.
One thing that you will find out when reading the following interview is that Carroll is refreshingly honest and has fine sense of humor.
BruinBlitz.com: Randall tell us about your first day of practice. You did a fine job during the summer 7-on-7s, but what was today like?
Carroll: "Today was a little harder. The cadence in the huddle was called a lot faster than when we were out here for 7-on-7. I guess they were going slower with us, working with us, but now since it is real time, they went pretty fast and that's where I was getting confused at and messed up a few plays, but I will get it together and be ready tomorrow."
