Positive streak for Pelphrey
Could the tide finally be turning in favor of Arkansas' basketball program following a mini-streak of good news with the return of star post player Michael Washington, the confirmed eligibility of heralded recruit Marshawn Powell and some other recent recruiting success?
For a while with player suspensions, dismissals, an arrest, ups and downs on the recruiting trail, and a 2-14 mark in SEC play, it seemed to be one bad thing after another for second-year coach John Pelphrey and his band of Razorbacks. Not to mention, 2010 in-state forward Preston Purifoy is high on the Hogs after an unofficial visit last week, and with John Calipari leaving Memphis for Pelphrey's alma mater Kentucky, it could actually re-open Arkansas' once strong pipeline to Memphis area recruits. There has been some good news lately, but will it translate into wins? Come inside to find out what Pelphrey has to say about all that and more.
