Sooners Land No. 2 for the day
Oklahoma had seemed to hit a lull in recruiting news but early on Tuesday Adam Shead put all that to an end by giving Oklahoma it's third offensive line commitment. It was one of his future line-mates that, in a round-about way, helped Oklahoma get the wheels turning on it's second commitment of the day.
When Sheldon McClain of Cibolo(Texas) Steele got word from his friend, and long-time Sooner commit Tyrus Thompson, that Oklahoma had earned a pledge from Shead it reminded him that he had some unfinished business.
"I just committed to Oklahoma. Actually I was coaching powder-puff football when Tyrus told me that they had landed another offensive lineman."
"I was like 'oh man, I gotta call coach Norvell!'. I had already decided to commit but I got to going through my day and totally forgot about it."
