Prattville (Ala.) athlete Sam Gibson has made several trips to Auburn over the past year including a stop this weekend to spend more time with the coaching staff and take an academic tour.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder said Auburn is already becoming a home away from home.

"Auburn is nice," Gibson said. "I like it because it's kinda like Prattville. It's a place where you can't get in a lot of trouble.

"It would be a good place for me to go because it's close to home. Auburn is a pretty good choice right now."

AU receivers coach Trooper Taylor is recruiting Gibson and the two have developed a close relationship.
