Sanders takes in two Saturday spring games
With many schools having their spring games on the same day, it left many recruits having to choose where they wanted to go this past weekend.
But Noxubee County (Miss.) four-star wide receiver Vincent Sanders was able to take in a pair spring games on Saturday at two programs at the top of his list.
The 6-foot-3, 182-pounder ventured across the state line to attend Alabama's A-day game early on Saturday then catching Mississippi State's Maroon-White scrimmage before returning to his home in nearby Macon.
"I wanted to get a good look at both of them," Sanders said. "I went over to Alabama on Thursday but I really didn't get to see a whole lot so I wanted to go back and watch them a little bit more. I left there and came to Mississippi State because I wanted to see how their new offense worked in an actual game."
Saturday marked the second consecutive weekend the Rivals250 member has visited the Starkville campus. Sanders left impressed with the Bulldogs offensive efficiency, especially in the passing game.
"I really enjoyed my visit to State," Sanders said. "I was impressed by their new offense. Tyson Lee throws the ball well and their running back runs well. I got a chance to see how they used their wide receivers and how they used them in an actual game. Leon Berry had a real good game."
Sanders has not been a stranger at Mississippi State over the past few months attending several basketball games, spring football practices and scrimmages as well as junior day. Sanders likes what he has seen from the Bulldogs facilities like the $6.1 million video board at Davis Wade Stadium.
