Logan Paulsen's take on injury
It is still inclusive if senior tight end Logan Paulsen has broken his foot again. They do know that he won't have to have surgery so there is a silver lining in that area. Paulsen met with the media to talk about what he knows of his injury and what his timetable for return could be.
Paulsen: "It's more of a precautionary thing. Right now they are treating it like it is broken and they're kind of waiting for a better safe than sorry kind of thing."
If it is broken did they give you an idea what it will take to get back?
Paulsen: "Well because there is no surgery involved because the screw is fine so it would be like the second half of what I did the first time. Instead of eight to ten weeks, it will probably be something like four to six weeks if it was actually broken and that is kind of depending on how it heals because it is in a spot in your foot where there's not a lot blood flow and as a result it kind of varies on how you heal from person to person. I'm going to try and lose a little weight because they think it will help me out with the foot and stuff like that."
