Norman, Dixon continue trend of PSL's best to MSU
DETROIT - The atmosphere at Detroit Renaissance was one of celebration on Wednesday as Phoenix standouts Chris Norman and Dana Dixon signed their respective letters of intent to Michigan State University.
Renaissance head coach Antonio Watts introduced both future Spartans during a signing day press conference on Wednesday. Watts emphasized that both Dixon and Norman were high character individuals, who continued the Renaissance tradition of turning out exemplary football players with strong academic credentials.
"This is a celebration not only with respect to athletic contributions here at Renaissance but both students are student athletes," said Watts. "Both of them have really nice, high G.P.A's and I am very proud of them. And I know that both of them will be very valuable and bring hardworking attributes to Mark Dantonio's program."
