Auburn cruises over Div. II Tuskegee
Auburn held an outmatched Tuskegee scoreless for the first six minutes of the game and cruised to a 75-32 win Wednesday night at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
The 32 points were the fewest by an AU opponent since 1948. It was AU's first action since Dec. 6 after an 11-day break for finals.
"You're supposed to win when you only give up 32 points," AU head coach Jeff Lebo said. "I thought we were a little rusty there offensively, especially coming off the break. The last 10 minutes we really got it going."
Five Tigers scored in double-figures led by junior forward Korvotney Barber with 14 points and seven rebounds in just 19 minutes of action.
