The wait is nearly over. For Mike Mercer and Gus Gilchrist, Sunday can't come fast enough. When the Bulls take the Sun Dome court against Niagara at 1 p.m., they will feature two of the more heralded players ever to wear a USF uniform - finally.

Mercer's last collegiate game was Feb. 10, 2007 for the Georgia Bulldogs at South Carolina, when he suffered a season-ending ACL tear. Gilchrist has yet to step on a college court in a game situation, despite finishing his high school career following the 2006-07 season.
