Higgins lifts Buffs to win over in-state rival

BuffStampede.com BOULDER, Colo. - Down 40-32, four minutes removed from halftime, the Buffaloes were in need of a run. And that's when CU's Cory Higgins found "the zone". The sophomore guard scored 28 second half points, propelling CU to a 75-56 victory over their in-state rival Colorado State. The Buffs outscored the Rams 43-14 over the course of the final 15 minutes and four seconds.
