BOULDER, Colo. - CU's men's basketball team has two objectives during their non-conference slate, which boasts a number of games against inferior opponents: win and gain confidence.

Friday night's season opener at the Coors Events Center was a success.

The Buffaloes, who had three first year starters and a total of 10 underclassmen on the court, got out to an early lead and cruised to a 76-56 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
