For the first time in over a month Clemson was able to win a football game last weekend. The Tigers won 27-21 over Boston College but if not for the efforts of C.J. Spiller the Eagles would have probably won in a rout.
The junior running back and return specialist racked up 242 all-purpose yards in the game and that doesn't count a 50-yard reception on a screen pass that was called back because of a penalty. His biggest contribution came in the fourth quarter with the Tigers trailing 21-17. The speedy back returned a kickoff 64 yards setting up the Tigers' game-winning touchdown.
