Healthy Pat was what doctor ordered
Bill Stewart says you can take all the Xs and Os you want, but if your Jimmy's and Joe's are not capable of playing, "You're not worth a hoot."
Last Thursday at Milan Puskar Stadium, a very important "Jimmy and Joe" named "Pat" was finally healthy for the first time since the Colorado game, Sept. 18, and with him came the balanced offense that the West Virginia head football coach had proposed in preseason.
While White had a season low eight rushing yards, the Mountaineers tried to protect him as he threw for three touchdowns and Noel Devine rushed for a career best 207 yards as they slammed Auburn 34-17 before 60,765 mostly friendly fans and a national television audience.
