Hollingsworth following uncle's footsteps
Josh Hollingsworth is following in his uncle's footsteps in becoming an SEC quarterback.
But unlike his uncle Gary, who set several school records at Alabama, Josh will attempt to make his mark at Mississippi State.
So far the Bulldogs are the only school to offer the three-star signal caller from Hamilton, Ala., but Hollingsworth is excited about playing for some of the same coaches that coached his uncle in Tuscaloosa.
"I really like the coaches," Hollingsworth said. "I like the atmosphere around State and it's a real good school. Most of the coaches were at Alabama back when my uncle was there and so he knew a bunch of them and got to know them pretty well."
The 6-foot-0, 180-pounder already has plans on becoming a physical therapist and has his major picked out when he enrolls next fall.
