Auburn's request for a medical hardship waiver for forward Korvotney Barber has been denied by the NCAA, AuburnSports.com has learned.

The 6-foot-7 Barber injured his wrist Dec. 29 in a game against Towson and applied for the waiver following the end of the 2007-8 season in March.
