One of the Texas' top overall athletes, Plano High's Rex Burkhead, took an unofficial visit to Auburn Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder arrived on the Plains in time to tour the campus, talk to the coaches and take in the Tigers' fourth practice of fall camp.

Burkhead, rated the No. 48 ATH in the country and No. 54 overall prospect in Texas, was making his first trip to Auburn.
