Mario’s fall a blessing
His stock couldn't get any higher, but even after hitting the shot heard around the world (especially if your world centers in Lawrence, Kan.), Mario Chalmers was being labeled as another prospect who was making the mistake of his life by leaving Kansas a year early. Now, a three-year, $2.3 million deal and an impressive summer league debut-later, Chalmers is considered the future point guard for the Miami Heat
Miami was lucky to even land Chalmers, the former Jayhawk, as his stock plummeted on draft night. Always calm and cool on the court, Chalmers showed that he is calm and cool off it as well.
