Vegas corner locks up USC offer

USCFootball.com As a long day of football came to an end for nearly 400 high school kids, a select few knew that if they performed well enough at the University of Southern California's annual skills camp they would receive a highly coveted scholarship offer from the Trojans.
One such player was Torin Harris, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback from Las Vegas (Nev.) Palo Verde. And after an impressive showing, which included a series of hand-timed 40-yard dashes in the mid-4.4s and locking down some big names in the one-on-ones, Harris was invited into Pete Carroll's office.
