KU, A&M will battle for spot in Championship game
When No. 5 ranked Kansas (29-3; 14-3) and Texas A&M (24-9; 10-8) first met back on March 8, the Jayhawks left College Station, Texas with a 17 point victory. When the two teams square off in the second semifinal game on Saturday at 3:20 CST, this stakes will be much higher this time around. Saturday's winner between Kansas and Texas A&M will face the winner of Saturday's first semifinal contest between Texas and Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament Championship on Sunday.
During the first 20 minutes of Friday night's quarterfinal contest between Kansas and Nebraska, the No. 2 seed Jayhawks played uninspired basketball. They were out hustled and out worked on both ends of the court.
