Collins finally healthy; KU rolling
Coming off three straight wins by an average of 28 points per game, No. 5/6 ranked Kansas (27-3; 12-3) finally appears to be back on the winning track. The Jayhawks, who travel to College Station, Texas, on Saturday to face Texas A&M (22-8; 8-7) can clinch their fourth straight Big 12 regular season championship with a win over the Aggies. A big reason for KU's success of late is in large part due to the play of sophomore guard Sherron Collins.
During KU's current three game winning streak, sophomore guard Sherron Collins has simply been a difference maker. He's scored a total of 38 points and connected on 5-of-12 shots from behind the arc.
Additionally, Collins has averaged 12.7 points per game and, most importantly, has been a real spark off the bench for Self's squad.
