The Coach
Interim head coach Butch Pierre took over a sinking LSU ship in midseason after John Brady was fired. Now in his ninth season at LSU, Pierre's previous coaching stops were at Louisiana-Lafayette and Charlotte. Now, he hopes to parlay LSU's improved play since Brady's departure into permanent status leading the Tigers. Since Pierre took over, LSU has won four of seven Southeastern Conference games. Also known as a top-notch recruiter, Pierre has landed nine Parade All-Americans since joining the LSU staff.
