KU travels to Austin
Saturday's win over Baylor wasn't quite like expected. Not only did the Kansas Jayhawks (23-1, 8-1) give up 90 points and win, but scored 100 without a single three pointer. The defensive effort is the bigger concern for head coach Bill Self as KU travels to Austin to take on another team whose guards are the majority of the offense. Texas (19-4, 6-2) is coming off an overtime victory over Iowa State on Saturday. Both teams feature stellar guard led by KU's Mario Chalmers and UT's D.J. Augustin. ESPN's Big Monday is on hand for the nationally televised clash between two Big 12 powers. Tip off is set for 8:00 p.m. CST.
Last season, Kansas and Texas played twice, and both meetings might have been the two best games of the year in the Big 12.
