Barber healing, but still out for MSU game
Korvotney Barber took the next step in returning from his broken left hand but he'll have to watch from the bench again Saturday night when Auburn hosts Mississippi State at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
Barber, who has missed the last 11 games, had the cast removed from his hand and began light basketball workouts this week.
"He still has a lot of swelling," said AU head coach Jeff Lebo. "He's going to be evaluated weekly. He's going to start doing a little bit of basketball-related things where he can kind of start to catch the basketball again."
With Barber out at least a couple of more weeks, AU will again start an undersized four-guard lineup against the Bulldogs.
