IU pulls out double-OT thriller in Champaign

Peegs.com The Indiana-Illinois rivalry didn't have much room to get more competitive, but it found a way Thursday night.
IU emerged victorious 83-79 from a double-overtime thriller against the Illini in Champaign. Armon Bassett scored 11 of his 16 points in the second OT period, hitting a 3-pointer and four clutch free throws to push the Hoosiers past Illinois.
