Another Rougher lineman ready to emerge

SoonerScoop.com In the past two seasons three Muskogee Roughers have decided to make Norman, Okla. their collegiate home, there are a pair of prospects that could move the trend to three years. One of those players is defensive tackle Robert Thomas who starred next to Sooner commitment Stacey McGee as a junior.
Thomas has talked numerous times about his friendship with the Rivals100 defensive lineman and their multiple trips to Norman. However, this trip was a bit different as Thomas was the focus of Oklahoma's recruiting attention, particularly the attention of defensive line coach Jackie Shipp.
"It was pretty cool I liked it. I liked coach Shipp a lot, he kept talking to me, letting me know different stuff," Thomas said. "There were a bunch of us in the defensive line group but he hung out with me the whole time.
"He was kind of asking me if I could see myself there."
