Report card: Georgia 61, Alabama 54
Setting aside a positively miserable shooting night from the perimeter (3 of 20 from 3-point range), the greater concern is the inability of UA's guards to feed the post with any consistency. UA's guards coughed up 13 turnovers in what was an ugly game to watch. Defensively, Georgia connected on 10 3-pointers as UA struggled to rotate.
Once again, Richard Hendrix posted a double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds) that rang hollow for several reasons. Primarily among them, and largely no fault of his own, he couldn't get involved in the offense until the second half. His struggles at the free-throw line continued (3 of 9), and without a doubt, he'll be fouled more and more until he breaks his slump there. Demetrius Jemison was short on production (2 points, 2 rebounds) for the minutes he got (22).
