Will Henry Follow In Fathers Footsteps?
The recruiting process is going just as expected for Xavier Henry, the 6-foot-6, 210-pound shooting guard from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City, Okla. The No. 2 ranked prospect in the class of 2009 has the rare opportunity to play for any high-major program he so chooses. However, three big-time college basketball institutions have separated themselves from the pack. Henry told Jayhawk Slant that coaches from two of the programs made the trip to Oklahoma City to watch him play last Thursday.
Henry, the No. 1 ranked shooting guard in the class of 2009, has an unlimited number of options to consider when it comes to his future. Right now, his list consists of Kansas, Louisville, Memphis, North Carolina, Ohio State, Texas and UCLA.
