KU's twin towers set the tone against BC
The first 10 minutes of Saturdays ACC/Big 12 Showdown between No. 3 Kansas (14-0; 0-0) and Boston College (10-3; 0-0) played out just as many expected. The Jayhawks and Eagles traded baskets, as neither were able to take control of the contest. However, with a little more than 10 minutes remaining in the first half, the look of the game completely changed. Bill Self's squad hit BC with a 25-7 run to end the first half. Senior Darnell Jackson scored a career high 25-points and grabbed nine rebounds, as Kansas cruised past Boston College, 85-60.
There was a time early on in Saturdays ACC/Big 12 showdown between Kansas and Boston College when it appeared the Eagles were ready to be the first team to defeat the Jayhawks.
