Sutton, Samuels to finally become Cats
Kansas State's basketball program will finally have two more players on its roster. After a full semester of waiting for their final two recruits to arrive, freshmen Dominique Sutton and Jamar Samuels both arrived in Manhattan on Dec. 26 to practice as members of the team for the first time.
Both players had intended to be with the team during the fall 2007 semester, but ran into different academic hurdles they needed to cross. Sutton and Samuels each solved their academic issues this fall at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass., and last week were approved to play for K-State by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
