Juco QB ready for second look at Mizzou
Two years ago, Jeremy Sanders spent a very short time as a Missouri commitment. After a detour to Navarro Junior College, the Marlin, TX native could end up in Columbia after all. Sanders has an official visit to Mizzou scheduled for this weekend.
Sanders was a three-star athlete out of Marlin in the Class of 2006. And he is being recruited to play any number of positions. He said Missouri, Utah State and Baylor are recruiting him as a quarterback first. New Mexico is looking at him as a receiver/quarterback and Tulsa is talking quarterback or defensive back. He also claimed an offer from Oklahoma State to play defensive back. But the chance to start under center is a big drawing card for Sanders.
The first trip will offer a chance to reunite with a high school teammate. Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander caught passes from Sanders in high school.
