Early lesson for young Wildcats
Since the preseason, the consistent theme surrounding Arizona basketball has been its youth and how it would be quite apparent at certain times.
That could not have been truer on Saturday night, as Arizona simply made too many amateur mistakes to beat a more experienced Virginia team that seemingly had a better knowledge of how to come up with the big play.
Whether it was Jerryd Bayless not letting the inbounds pass cross the line, silly fouls, or bad shots, Arizona made too many bad decisions to come out with the win.
Arizona certainly does not have the talent to get away with turning the ball over as much as it did in the first half and the more mistakes Arizona makes, the less and less likely it is going to be that the Wildcats come away with the win.
