Auburn back in action for home-opener
Eight days after a disappointing performance at Tulane, Auburn (0-1) returns to action Tuesday night in the home opener against Kennesaw State (0-1).
Head coach Jeff Lebo has had plenty to work on this week after the Tigers were out-rebounded 39-31 and shot just 38.9 percent from the field and 48.1 percent the free throw line in a 77-62 loss to the Green Wave.
"The biggest thing that hurt us in that game was free throw shooting," said Lebo. "It is frustrating to sit and watch. It is like getting down to the 2-yard line and missing a bunch of field goals.
"We have to put the ball in the basket. We have to do a better job of getting a little better shots for our perimeter players."
