Who will back up Vaughn?
Jamual Warren's injury has really shaken up the battle for playing time at the point guard position.
Warren injured his hand Sunday in a car accident. Coach Cronin said the good news is the injury won't require surgery and Warren should be back in three weeks.
Before the Bellarmine game, when asked which players would play the point, Cronin answered "Probably just Jamual and Deonta (Vaughn)."
With Warren out now, that figures to change. Cronin said Alvin Mitchell is going to have to play some point guard. Although Mitchell was recruited to play on the wing, he does have a little bit of experience at the point.
"(Warren) didn't practice Thursday or Friday last week because he turned his ankle at the end of the NKU game," said Cronin "It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we gave Alvin and Larry (Davis) a lot of looks at the point."
