Trick or Treat?
On Wednesday, kids across the nation will dress up and hit the neighborhood to do a little Trick-or-Treating.
On Saturday, Oklahoma State hopes to get another home victory. While that would be a nice treat for the Cowboys, this weekend's opponent, Texas, has proven to be quite the trickster when it comes to games against the team which dresses for Halloween year-round.
The last several outings against the Longhorns have been a nightmare for the Cowboys.
In 2002, OSU lost in Austin, 17-15, in a game which retroactively could have netted the Pokes the Big 12 South title, as they beat Oklahoma later on that season. But referees ruled that Rashaun Woods didn't make it in the end zone on the try for two, leaving the Pokes just short.
In 2003, little bags of Tostitos tortilla chips were placed all over Boone Pickens Stadium, as the matchup had potential BCS bowl implications. And after OSU went into the half up 16-14, they decided to avoid the freezing cold temperatures in the second half, as the Longhorns went on to win 55-16.
