Ready to Roll
Georgia wrapped up practice Thursday for Saturday's game against Florida and Bulldog coach Mark Richt said his team is ready to go.
"I think we've had two good weeks of preparation and I do believe our guys are generally excited about this opportunity, which they should be," Richt said. "I am, too. We're all very excited about this game and anxious to see how we play."
The Bulldogs are scheduled to arrive at their team hotel in St. Augustine Friday afternoon.
Georgia's players will actually be some of the last ones from the University to arrive in the Sunshine State. UGA students began their annual two-day fall break Thursday.
"With school out, there was not really a limit on what we can do with them (the players)," Richt said. "We did a little more than normal, but not too much because we didn't want to wear them out. It was mostly meeting and some walkthroughs, just to make sure everybody understands what the plan is and so forth."
King looks like a go
Richt came within an eyelash of committing to playing freshman running back Caleb King Thursday. A lot, he said, will depend on whether or not doctors decide that Thomas Brown will definitely be back for Georgia's game against Auburn Nov. 10.
