Asked to pinpoint a team in the Southeastern Conference that poses a similar threat offensively to that of Big East power West Virginia, Sylvester Croom stopped himself short. "This team is different," said Croom with a slight chuckle. "They're offense is a little bit different, our defense has faced similar schemes but none as speedy as this one."

Mississippi State has already faced two teams currently ranked in the nation's Top 10 - No. 5 LSU and No. 6 South Carolina - and will face a third Saturday when the Bulldogs (4-3, 1-3 SEC) travel to Morgantown for a battle with the ninth-ranked Mountaineers (5-1, 1-1 Big East).
