Credit Mizzou with making the plays
No matter how many times it was said before the Sooners took on Missouri on Saturday night, it never seemed to sink in.
Chase Daniel and the Missouri offense would be a formidable opponent for the OU defense. Heck, Missouri would be a formidable opponent for any defense in college football.
Chase Daniel, Jeremy Maclin and tight ends Chase Coffman and Martin Rucker pose a serious aerial threat to any group of defensive backs across the country.
But after the Sooners pulled out a 41-31 win over Missouri's vaunted offense, it was clear Brent Venables and the OU defense had pulled off quite a feat.
The Sooners held Daniel and Missouri to 10 points in Columbia a year ago. This year in Norman, they put up 31 points.
But go ahead and ignore the fact Daniel accounted for only one more yard of total offense in 2007.
