High expectations for Lebo's fourth season
Expectations are high for the Auburn men's basketball team as practice gets underway Friday.
With a veteran roster returning including AU's top eight scorers from last year's 17-15 team, the Tigers are looking to take the next step and qualify for postseason play.
"We have high expectations, probably the highest since I've been here with the veteran team we've got coming back," said head coach Jeff Lebo who has a 43-48 record in three seasons at Auburn. "The way we finished last year gives us a reason to be optimistic."
Last year's team posted AU's first winning record since 2003, coming up a game-short of winning the SEC West title. They posted five wins over Top 25 teams including a 2-0 record against Alabama.
