Singleton ready for UK's 'Madness'
Kentucky's much-anticipated visitor list for Big Blue Madness will include one of the top prospects in the Class of 2008.
Four-star Dunwoody (Ga.) forward Chris Singleton says he spoke with UK coach Billy Gillispie on Sunday night to discuss plans for his official visit this weekend. It has the potential to be a memorable trip. In addition to attending the Wildcats' celebratory opening practice alongside a mix 23,000 fans and fellow recruits at Rupp Arena, he will also take in UK's football game on Saturday afternoon against top-ranked LSU at what should be a frenzied Commonwealth Stadium.
Singleton (6-9, 215) is rated the No. 4 small forward and No. 33 prospect overall by Rivals.com for 2008. A long list of schools that included major programs from coast to coast has now been pared to four schools: Kentucky, Florida State, Georgetown and Tennessee.
