Texas back soaks in Corvallis
The last few years, Oregon State has usually brought in most of their official visitors after the season. So when a prospect volunteers to come up to Corvallis on their own dime, it's an extra bonus. Jacquizz Rodgers, the shifty 5-foot-6, 180-pound running back from Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, Texas, had seen older brother James play for the Beavers on TV, but took some time out this past weekend to come up and take in OSU in person.
"It went good," Rodgers said of his visit. "I was there to watch my brother, but I got to go to the locker room and meet the guys and talk to the coaches and stuff. It was good."
