Prospects Play Under the Lights
The Wilmington Area Greyhounds (3-1, 2-0) showed they are the team to beat in District 10 with an easy 34-0 win over previously unbeaten Greenville (3-1) by a score of 37-0. Pitt commit Chris Burns had a huge night. Burns ran for 212 yards on only 14 carries. Burns scored on touchdowns runs of 16-yards, 73-yards, 20-yards and 50-yards. Burns also caught a pass end and finished the night with 220 yards in total offense. The Wilmington Greyhounds will host Reynolds (1-3) Friday night.
Whitehall (3-1) stunned previously unbeaten Easton (3-1) in a Lehigh Valley Conference game by a score of 26-14. Easton had been ranked No. 31 in the nation by Rivals High. Whitehall kept Jarred Holley (5' 11" 170)bottled up limiting him 55 yards on 16 carries. The Red Rovers will try to bounce back on the road Friday night against Allentown Central Catholic.
