What has been more noteworthy: quarterback Alex Brink's 73.6 completion percentage or the fact that he has been sacked twice? How about running back Dwight Tardy's 101 yards per game average or the holes he is running through?
On paper, it's the yardage, percentages and touchdowns that get the recognition. But on the field, it's the offensive linemen that indirectly create these stats. Although you won't find their names in the box score, the big boys on the WSU offensive line get their props.
"They always give us love," WSU center Kenny Alfred said. "But we're just trying to do our job and help them out."
