Former E-town star hopes to get second look
It seems like ages ago when Chris Todd quarterbacked a pass-happy Elizabethtown team to the Kentucky Class 2A championship game. In reality, it was just December of 2003.
The road from there has had many twists and turns for Todd, and now he looks to write another chapter to his story. He is going through the recruiting process all over again, and the Kentucky boy and his parents wish UK would come calling.
A member of the Class of 2005, Todd didn't initially receive that call from the Wildcats during his first recruiting go-around. But after UK lost a commitment from Pennsylvania quarterback Bill Stull late in the process, a scholarship offer was extended to the Panther star. Todd, however, elected to go with another coach and system that mirrored the one he had run at E-town, signing with former UK assistant Mike Leach at Texas Tech.
